Did my stats go down because my readership went down, or just because there are no archive pages anymore, so I get fewer visitors from Google?
Too bad I don’t remember exactly when I removed the archives.
Want to know when I post new content to my blog? It's a simple as registering for free to an RSS aggregator (Feedly, NewsBlur, Inoreader, …) and adding www.garoo.net to your feeds (or www.garoo.net if you want to subscribe to all my topics). We don't need newsletters, and we don't need Twitter; RSS still exists.

J'ai l'impression que tu as moins de commentaires (mais peut-être n'est-ce qu'une impression de ma part), ce qui tendrait à dire que tu as peut-être moins de lecteurs. M'enfin je n'en sais rien.

perhaps it correlates to the time you posted your farewell address in which you told people this would be a site dedicated to technical postings from then on? --- not exactly the best scheme if you're trying to incent people to be frequent fliers
