The suspicion is confirmed, my neighbors are weird: as I had just pulled the door, going out, right at the moment the horror dawned on me that I had locked myself out because I’d worn dirty jeans yesterday and my keys weren’t in the pocket they were supposed to, I heard a voice (a female, thirty-ish voice, not a little girl’s) from behind the next door’s spyhole:

…it’s the next-door neighbor… I don’t know him…

I would have answered, through the door, “well, how about introducing ourselves now!” but for some odd reason I wasn’t quiet in the mood right then. Go figure.

Want to know when I post new content to my blog? It's a simple as registering for free to an RSS aggregator (Feedly, NewsBlur, Inoreader, …) and adding www.garoo.net to your feeds (or www.garoo.net if you want to subscribe to all my topics). We don't need newsletters, and we don't need Twitter; RSS still exists.

La seule raison qui pourrait me faire imaginer (j'ai pas dit envisager) de vivre à la campagne, c'est d'avoir une maison sans le moindre voisin à des kilomètres à la ronde.

Rentrer chez soi sans risquer de croiser personne. Le bonheur.

C'est marrant, moi en plein Paris, je croise si peu souvent mes voisins dans l'escalier que j'en reconnaitrais pas la moitié dans la rue. Faut dire, il y a certain turn-over.

Mais même pour les quelques qui étaient déjà là à mon arrivée, je ne sais ni leur nom ni rien sur eux, et c'est réciproque.

On doit être un immeuble à asociaux. Ce qui me va très bien.
