Uh, how does an “AppleCare Protection Plan” work, exactly? Because, the way I see it, it’s just a number you enter on a form to associate it with your computer, so a simple e-mail could give it, or at worst they could send it by mail, but the only thing I received so far in an Apple envelope is the bill. Did I miss something in an e-mail? Or are they going to send delivery guys to bring me a piece of paper?

It's a simple as registering for free to an RSS aggregator (Feedly, NewsBlur, Inoreader, …) and adding www.garoo.net to your feeds (or www.garoo.net if you want to subscribe to all my topics). We don't need newsletters, and we don't need Twitter; RSS still exists.

Le plan Apple Care m'avait été envoyé dans une grosse boite, style "iLife" avec un CD à l'intérieur de diagnostic (il doit contenir des nanos techniciens non ?).
Avec la galette, se trouvait un code. Il faut le renvoyer pour activer le plan! Oui souscrire à un plan apple Care, le payer, nécessite ensuite une autre démarche. enfin c'était ainsi il y a deux ans .... deux ans déjà que je file le parfait amour avec ce petit bout de chou blanc nommé "nibook". Deux ans ... ça commence à faire long ... je crois que je vais rompre..

C'est effectivement toujours comme ça que ça se passe. Attention à bien enregistrer le Mac dans les un an de garatie, sinon c'est foutu.
