Crap, it’s the end of the world 500 meters away from my flat and I didn’t know; I went and did my laundry and didn’t realize anything.

Want to know when I post new content to my blog? It's a simple as registering for free to an RSS aggregator (Feedly, NewsBlur, Inoreader, …) and adding www.garoo.net to your feeds (or www.garoo.net if you want to subscribe to all my topics). We don't need newsletters, and we don't need Twitter; RSS still exists.

It's really irritating, isn't it? I keep getting texts from people abroad asking if I'm OK and I'm like, "errm, I'm in the supermarket". I did get a call from a friend last night who was being tear-gassed on her way home (Nation) from work - she was none too happy, but whaddya expect if you live in the burbs??
