Garoo

My name is Cédric Bozzi and this is my blog. Well… mostly, this is a rerun of all my tweets and the photos I publish on Instagram, but sometimes there might be an actual article or two.

I make websites and iPhone apps, try my best to own one of every item in Apple’s current product lineup, spend my entire life on the internet, and am looking for a flat in Paris.

Veronica Mars 2.01 ★★★

Mff.

<SPOILERS>

I don’t like the way the writers play on the “but who is she dating now?” theme, with cascading false revelations and all — too artificial, too meta, and the final answer is so unsatisfying to me. And why wouldn’t Wallace be among the possibilites, damnit? Not too much a fan, either, of the way the second season’s story arc is introduced in bulk, ostensibly, in the season premiere; this is so artificial it’s a caricature of screenwriting. And I hate how they managed to save everyone we might care for.

</SPOILERS>

I was going to say I’d quietly wait for season 2 to reach French networks, but considering how the show hinges on the characters’ charm and the witty dialogues, switching from the original version to the French dub would certainly be unbearable.

I guess I’ll wait for the DVD box set instead; by the time it’s available here I’ll be rich and powerful enough to afford it and watch it with my 09er friends on a stunning home cinema setup.
