Canon PowerShot G3 @ f/2.0

Wow, I can’t believe this works — I’d been wondering for a while, so I finally plugged both Macs to the capture box’s two Firewire ports, and… boom (the good kind).

I’m half-worried that it’d overheat and explode or something, but the purpose isn’t to watch TV on both at the same time, but switch from one to the other when I need to, now that the mini shares its screen with my Xbox.

Wonder what would happen with a camcorder. Or a hard drive (but that one I won’t try).

P.S. Oh, by the way, since I didn’t found an answer on Google when I looked: sharing a Formac Studio DV between two computers (Macs).

Want to know when I post new content to my blog? It's a simple as registering for free to an RSS aggregator (Feedly, NewsBlur, Inoreader, …) and adding www.garoo.net to your feeds (or www.garoo.net if you want to subscribe to all my topics). We don't need newsletters, and we don't need Twitter; RSS still exists.
