Battlestar Galactica 2.01–2.05

Even when the show started getting religious, I never imagined it would be that religious. But then, Ronald D. Moore previously worked on Carnivàle.

Want to know when I post new content to my blog? It's a simple as registering for free to an RSS aggregator (Feedly, NewsBlur, Inoreader, …) and adding www.garoo.net to your feeds (or www.garoo.net if you want to subscribe to all my topics). We don't need newsletters, and we don't need Twitter; RSS still exists.

You have to remember that Battlestar Galactica was, from the very beginning, written by a Mormon who included a lot of references to religion. Here, take a look.

A Mormon?? Do you mean an ex-Mormon?

garoo, 6 years ago:

Oh--no, you mean an ex-writer. But Moore didn't necessarily haveto keep such a strong messiah theme (or maybe he did, or maybe he figured he should keep it so it was more interesting).

Plus I don't think I never actually watched the original BSG, so I'm allowed to be surprised :)
