Oddcast PhotoFace

PhotoFace transforms your picture into a fully-animated fake-3D Goa’uld that you can then distort and alter in all sorts of ways. You absolutely have to upload a picture there and see the face start moving on its own; it’s as creepy as it is amazing.

Just like the post I linked the other day about using a Red camera to shoot a fashion magazine’s cover, this reminds me of that good old sci-fi trope of animated photographs.

You could screen-cap that thing and put it on an digital picture frame to freak people out in your haunted house. Ooh… Halloween decoration.

Please note that the wrinkles aren’t mine — I pushed the slider that makes me look older, okay? (And I closed the page, because it’s CPU-hogging Flash, of course, before I realized what it meant that I was going to post this here.)

P.S. Oh, it’s a demo for an avatar creation technology.
