Yahtzee Croshaw, Mogworld

The story isn’t bad, but the writing isn’t all that — not as funny as it should be (you get the sense that the author never quite decided if he was doing an Adams / Pratchett lark or a real epic with vaguely serious considerations), and above all in desperate need of a good editor. I guess that’s what you get when you’re published by a company that’s only ever released comics before.

Still, not a bad way to spend $8 as a token of appreciation to Croshaw for three years of Zero Punctuations.
