It's a simple as registering for free to an RSS aggregator (Feedly, NewsBlur, Inoreader, …) and adding www.garoo.net to your feeds (or www.garoo.net if you want to subscribe to all my topics). We don't need newsletters, and we don't need Twitter; RSS still exists.

The new Darla came back way before Angel.
I know there was no grand intention there beyond "hey that Julie Benz was nice, let's hire her back," but if you're willing to make it up, it's kinda cool to imagine that all the underlings we see at one point or another may have been cool characters at some point in their past.
