Garoo

My name is Cédric Bozzi and this is my blog. Well… mostly, this is a rerun of all my tweets and the photos I publish on Instagram, but sometimes there might be an actual article or two.

I make websites and iPhone apps, try my best to own one of every item in Apple’s current product lineup, spend my entire life on the internet, and am looking for a flat in Paris.

Sur Twitter : @garoo, @ff00aa and @bewarethefrog — plus @garoodotnet which notifies of new articles on this blog.

My name is Cédric Bozzi, and I’ve gone under the handle Garoo (ガルー) since 1997, for reasons that are both complicated and utterly uninteresting. I have an engineer’s degree in computer science, but decided near the end of my studies that I wanted to do something more creative, so I went the easy route and started making websites.

I have blogged since 2001 (but had a personal web page long before that); I’ve worked as a freelance webdesigner for ten years on and off, as can be seen on my portfolio, but like to focus more on my personal projects: two gay dating sites (I abandoned gayattitude.com to start over at webispink.com), a videogame blog that never really took off, a short-lived comic hosting site, etc. I’ve also made a couple of Mac and iPhone apps that you can see on my company’s site (because one day a friend convinced me to start a company, which I don’t recommend for anybody).

I was born on Feb. 6, 1976 and I’m living at 48.862668, 2.359571, because the aforementioned personal projects aren’t exactly raking in the dough at the moment.
