Finished my last AC:Origins tour and I want more. I want to spend more time in this world and I want all the game types. Egyptian Cart Simulator. Nile Farming Simulator. Playerunknown`s Primitive Battlegrounds. Far Cry and Destiny are done, but I want all the others.

Got my MacBook Pro back and I’d forgotten how slim and flat it’s supposed to be when the battery isn’t swollen — crazy that I took so long to notice something was wrong.

I still dislike the principle of gluing the battery so strongly Apple itself won’t service it without changing the whole case, but it’s hard to complain when I get a shiny new case and keyboard for the flat battery service fee.

It seems like just a few days ago I was too angry at Apple for the iPhone battery business to imagine ever buying stuff from them again

Shadow Tactics: Blade of the Shogun was on my wishlist and it was a nice surprise to get it for free with Amazon Prime via Twitch. I was waiting for a sale because I’m not patient enough to get my money’s worth of a tactics game, but it is very good and I’m enjoying it so far.

Also played DubWars which is a very fun concept: a twin-stick space shooter where you don’t control your weapons — they’re synced with the music. I’m not good (or, again, patient) enough to even finish the first stage but I really like the idea.

There’s no way I’m gonna spend my time playing PUBG on a small phone screen (if anything it’s pushing me that much more toward buying the PC version) but damn it’s crazy you can play a full-featured game like this on mobile
