Garoo

5 jan. 2005

28 Days Later: it’s odd, I seem to remember it wasn’t particularly well received when it was released, although this movie just hasn’t got a single flaw — except, I suppose, being from the Trainspotting director, and not trying to be cult, or a shocker, or plain different, but just, simply, good and efficient (would that be sacrilegeous?).

I’d be really curious to know how each scene was shot, and with what: you go from ensemble shots with a very DVesque blur on details, to gorgeous images where you can see each raindrop fall. I can hardly believe it’s the same camera all the way, and only the lighting changes.
