Garoo

Weird watching the first Alias episodes again: Sydney in SD-6, Rambaldi still off-stage, all the characters having no idea what’s coming at them, it’s hard to believe this was only three years ago (in our dimension). Particularly funny, the sets’ evolution, à la X-Files: the show starts with functional, realistic offices, and moves pretty fast to archetypal sets with mood lighting. That’s too bad — the contrast between the action scenes and the CIA’s assorted brown wallpapers, windowblinds and suits was interesting.
