Is it just me, or was that actually painfully boring? The storylines were okay, I guess, but the execution was awfully dull. What is it with uncanceled shows needing a full year to come back to speed? If you can manage to make a striking, successful pilot when you’re first launching the show, then why the hell would you botch the second launch? Were the writers called back from oblivion at the last moment with only two weeks to produce a script for the DVD?
Oh, wait, yeah, that must be exactly what happened.
