Oh, come on — even books / movies that take place during World War 2 have final Fight Club twists now?
I wasn’t that profoundly interested in most of the movie (although teen Briony is quite impressive), but I can never resist a seventy-year-old woman’s blue eyes telling her lifelong regrets to the camera. Worked just the same in Titanic.
